Megan + Jeff - The Beach - MD Engagement Photographer

This is one of my favorite engagement sessions! We started in town before heading to the beach, they were all about having fun for their session, the light was perfect and it was my ideal shoot all around (minus the 100% humidity). Megan is one of the owners of Shop Mamie the “cheap and chic clothing boutique for women” (check out their blog www.stylememamie.com, and Jeff is a hockey player! Such a cool, fun, in love couple!

Jessica + Brian - Washington, DC - Washington, DC Engagement Photographer

I photographed some sweet engagement photos for one of my couples with a wedding later this year. We chose to go by the Washington Monument and get images with some of the neat architecture around there. Shooting downtown is one of my favorite spots… when its not crowded!

Susan + Garry - Washington, DC Engagement Photography

I love when people bring their pups for me to photograph. Susan and Garry brought popcorn aka “poppy”, one of the most well behaved cuties I’ve ever seen, into DC for their engagement session. Photos with people and pets, sometimes reminds me of family sessions. I’m sure most people think of their puppies as their babies anyways, so why wouldnt you want them in your photos to remember!

Hello, I’m Shelby and I’m a sunflare, backlit addict! A nice, sunny sunset session… my favorite! And look at this 1909 Model T they brought to the field, totally fun!

I shot two engagement sessions this weekend and Ann- Marie and Tom are getting married just next month! This was my first time at The Beach for an engagement session this year, and I’m glad to be barefoot in the sand again!

Beth + Ben - Washington, DC

Wow! It’s hot all of a sudden!  I photographed an engagement session in DC over the weekend in the 95 degree heat, so I tried to duck under the shaded areas and savor the little breezes we got. I think I managed to walk/sweat off a few pounds. Of course it was a busy weekend with everyone in the city out to enjoy the day too!

I loves Beth’s expression here!

Katrina+ Ian- The Field

I was a little nervous I’d be rusty after not shooting any couples for a few months while everyone hibernated for winter, but it all came back to me! I shot the first engagement session of the year at one of my fav spots!

Julie + Mike - DC

Lord, have I been horrible about blogging, or getting anything done in general.  Life is so crazy right now!! Thankfully I’ll get a little break over the weekend ** I’ll be out of office 11/7-11/11**. I shot Julie and Mike’s e-session weeks ago in DC, they were so fun plus I love getting the chance to shoot downtown.  PS. Holiday print order deadline is coming up on 11/15.

Aren’t they cute??
