Italy, Greece, Croatia Vacation Video - #11 & #16 CHECK!

“11. Visit Europe for leisure.” “16. Go on a cruise.”

I killed two birds with one stone! This was by far the best vacation I’ve ever taken. Italy, Venice specifically, was definitely one of my top “I want to go there!” places, but I never planned to go there anytime soon. It’s impossible for me to ever plan to do anything, for all I know I could wake up a millionaire tomorrow morning, thats how things seem to happen. I think I’m doing one thing another day and the next I’m doing something else, something better!

#96 - CHECK!

I unexpectedly completed one off my 101 in 1001 list recently.  While we were waiting for our dinner reservations I just said “hey lets walk around the corner and take a few photos!”, so we did! And I got to complete #96! Love these two!

#29 - CHECK!

Riley started her first day of ballet class yesterday…that means I can scratch off number 29 on my 101 in 1001 list! My mom bought all the grand-kids ballet classes for Christmas, so this was an easy one!

Summer + Family + Me

Anyone notice it starting to get darker just a little bit earlier now?  I have at my last couple beach session- fall is coming!  I’m a little disappointed that I haven’t gotten as many things done on my 101 in 1001 list done as I’d hoped this summer thus far. Sometimes I look at it and just get overwhelmed with what to do next!  So I think I need some suggestions- check out my 101 in 1001 list here and tell me what I should do next! :o)

#23 Check!

“23. Buy a new car- bye bye Stella.”

If you keep up with my twitter you’d know that last Friday I completed number #23 on my 101 in 1001 list by buying a new car! yayyy!

Let me give you a bio on my old car, “Stella”. Stella was a Isuzu Rodeo named and purchased in 2000 by my mom, her then job made her put a massive amount of miles in just a couple years but she was still good by the time she made her way into my sister, Justine’s, hands for another couple of years. Then she finally got to me! By then she was paid off so she was a sweet free ride for me! Until recently I realized poor Stella was starting look and feel a little worn, 8 years old and 132,000 some miles one her… so born was Stella II a beautiful Toyota Highlander. Okay, not that exciting but I’m a proud mama and I feel like she was made to be mine! Every time I get in I feel like that Tampax commercial where they say “upgrade!”.

#33- Check!

“33. Buy a fisheye lens”

I just put in a hefty order in for some well deserved, much needed, camera goodies that included a Nikon 10.5mm 2.8 lens (fisheye)!  So fun!  There are some other tidbits and one other big ticket item that you’ll just have to wait to see when I get it - hopefully next week!

#81 & #82 Check!

“81.Buy a shootsac.” 

 I get to check two tasks off my 101 in 1001 list today!  Shootsac was having a sale last week so I took it as an omen.  It was a definite need for this year since I am switching to using mostly prime lenses.  Plus its really cute, now I don’t have to lug an ugly camera bag around when I just want to go out and take shots of the girls.

I went back and forth deciding between shootsac covers. It was a close call between “Festive” and “Wild”. But in the end Wild won, it speaks to me!
