Weight Loss Update

With only 2 weeks left till my goal of losing 10 pounds I’m disappointed that I haven’t lost as much as I’d hoped!  As of now I stand about -4 pounds then 4 weeks ago. I will admit I got off track a few times and indulged in my favorite foods but I’m still determined to reach my goal of losing 10 pounds.  I even signed up for Weight Watchers online on Monday and I’ve actually gained a half pound since then, even though I’m starving most the time- I only get 19 points a day!  Which adds up to about 1100-1300 calories, not very much.  I still like the WW plan though, its kind of like counting calories for dummies, instead of dealing with the big numbers of calories you deal with small points so I’ll give it more time.

Who would of thought it would be so hard for me to lose the weight?!  I don’t eat meat, I love vegetables and I don’t drink. What’s my downfall? Chocolate, sweets, anything with sugar. I stocked up on Weight Watchers icecream- its actually VERY good, especially the chocolate fudge brownie!

So I think its a little unrealistic to lose 6 pounds in two weeks for me. My new goal is to lose 3 more pounds by 4/11!

Any words of encouragement or tips out there?

The Beginning of the Season

On this beautiful, temperature of high 60’s, spring day I photographed my first senior of the year at the best, most popular spot of them all- the beach.  I was telling a friend shooting season was coming up and their reply was “shoot what?” “since when do you shoot?”, yes she is a blonde. :o)  I think its officially the season for me now and I’m looking forward to many beautiful seniors this year.

Jennifer + Mitch in Annapolis

The gloomy rain clouds early in the day were making me a little nervous about todays session and of course it started pouring the second I left the house. Thankfully not for long, a quick 30 minute shower and it was done, the sun even peeked out at sunset!

Jumping! Of course!

Fisheye Fun

I got a nice delivery from the UPS man today, it’s usually always a good day when the UPS man/woman comes to your house.  I got my fisheye, but I learned the other lens I ordered was out of stock so I have to go find it elsewhere! My test subjects were ready and willing as always.

Unflattering photo of Riley (but look how cute Laila is!)

St. Patty’s Day

Hapy St. Patrick’s Day! No, I’m not Irish, Im not wearing green today and I didn’t even realize it was St. Patrick’s Day till I dropped Riley off at school but I did *buy* some cupcakes to celebrate.

Those are even rings on the top! I have a feeling Riley will be sporting a few of those later. And I know what you’re thinking - but as long as I don’t eat the whole bunch I think I’ll be okay. ;o)

#33- Check!

“33. Buy a fisheye lens”

I just put in a hefty order in for some well deserved, much needed, camera goodies that included a Nikon 10.5mm 2.8 lens (fisheye)!  So fun!  There are some other tidbits and one other big ticket item that you’ll just have to wait to see when I get it - hopefully next week!

My 101 in 1001 list.

Yayyyy!

ETA- Down 2.5 pounds so far!

Sick of Them Yet?

Some March Announcements

Nothing fun to post today just wanted to say a few things.

REMINDER- Wedding rates increase on 3/10, a contract must be signed before that date to be eligable for the current “old” pricing.  I won’t be booking very many more weddings for 2008 as my schedule seems pretty full thus far so bring on the 2009 weddings!

SPRING PORTRAIT SESSION-  If you are thinking about booking a spring portrait session or setting up your engagement sessions for Spring time (especially April), I would jump on that now folks. A good time to book is 3-4 weeks out to make sure you get an ideal date but of course I sometimes have room for last minute schedulings.

Day light savings on the 9th! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!
