M.I.A.

If you’ve emailed me or are thinking about emailing (or calling) me, expect super delayed responses.  I’ve moved this weekend, my family is coming into town tomorrow and my sisters wedding is this weekend so I wont be working much.  Plus I lost my phone, yes, my 4th iPhone, when I went to see Kathy Griffin in DC on Sunday, but hopefully I will have secured a phone tomorrow!    

Here’s what you have to look forward to: pics of my lovely new house, images from two/three weddings and two e-sessions, PLUS stuff from my own sisters wedding (which I’m a MOH in)!!!

Las Vegas Bachelorette

We physically got back from the Las Vegas bachelorette party yesterday, but I don’t think we were mentally all there. I spent most of the day in bed, until I was forced to get up because of an engagement session. This doesn’t need to be said but, it was awesome!! I brought my “real” camera and forgot memory. So I just gave up and decided to use my iphone for pics all weekend. Only 17 days until Justine ties the knot!

Justine’s Bridal Shower

In 26 days my sister is getting married!!  And the question I get every time is “will you shoot the wedding?”.  No I’m not.  It’s even better- I’m a maid of honor! And with my maid of honor duties comes planning a bridal shower.  Actually the only thing I did was make invitations and show up [with gold fish]!

 

I love the look on my moms face! Is she crying from laughing?

Justine’s only naughty gift- surprisingly! And a nice toast, yep, thats a shot- we’re classy people.

And of course, the little girls! I went to take the photo and as the class clown, Riley said, “take a picture of my butt butt!”. Then the other girls followed and they all gave me a nice picture of all their “butt butts”!

In 5 days, 7 women will board a plane for Las Vegas, NV, in hopes of winning big and showering our bride to be with a bachelorette party that will shake the city. Actually I plan on this being a relatively tame trip, but you know what they say about Vegas! I won’t be around from the 13-16th, and the plan is to get a lot of albums, shoots and order completed before then! BUT, I won’t be returning any work related contact during that time! I know you’re probably miffed that I haven’t posted about the “b-sessions”, but its coming!!

A Milestone For Me!

This weekend was one for the books! On Saturday, it was my 21st birthday!! It was more of a milestone for my friends and family then it was for me because…. I don’t drink…or go out! Boo. I know, I’m just so boring! But we still went out and celebrated in DC, since I was already down there for the weekend Marathon Boudoir Session! We ended up switching from Hotel Rouge to a little hotel that rhymes with The Paint Jesus. Most of my ladies signed a release to allow me to use select images so hopefully I can get some up later this week (they are HOT!). It made my day when some girls brought me cupcakes, pastries and starbucks giftcards to their sessions for my birthday! :o)

I think Crystal took this with my iphone. I humored them with a champagne glass, although I prefer to get drunk on that choclate cake in front of me. num num!
