Shelby is one of my awesome senior reps for 2010 (even though she’s graduating in 09). We went out on her birthday to shoot her senior session around downtown Annapolis and I was so excited when she brought me fun little props to play with, like her Nikon camera! We got a makeup artist out to polish off the shoot, and I love the way it just makes the photos sparkle. Look how fun she is!

Wow! It’s hot all of a sudden! I photographed an engagement session in DC over the weekend in the 95 degree heat, so I tried to duck under the shaded areas and savor the little breezes we got. I think I managed to walk/sweat off a few pounds. Of course it was a busy weekend with everyone in the city out to enjoy the day too!
Earlier this week I went to a get together for local photographers for some fun shooting and good times. I popped in a little later just to grab a handful of shots of one of the models. Makeup was done by Kelly Epps-Woods of FaceMode.

I was a little nervous I’d be rusty after not shooting any couples for a few months while everyone hibernated for winter, but it all came back to me! I shot the first engagement session of the year at one of my fav spots!
the barn blew down from the last time I was there, but this garage is still standing for now.

If you’re unfamiliar with these sessions, its a weekend long event where I’ll be shooting private mini 30 minute sessions at lovely low prices. The event is open to all types of sessions; families, engagement, babies, seniors, maternity, solo… you get the point. But this year I’m offering a whole new type of package… a DIGITAL SESSION! Yay! I’m guessing this will be very popular considering how lovely the price is for what you get. In additional the usual 30 minute slot and private gallery you receive 10 of your favorite images, fully edited on disc for any personal printing use! This is amazing, because digital files are priced at $50/per image, thats a steal if you ask me, and thats why this is a one time only price, I may not ever offer digital sessions again!
