I had the pleasure of meeting the eyes behind Monachetti. I get asked so frequently if I know any great videographers and I have a hard time recommending anyone. I was so excited when Michael and Andrew were telling me about their wedding style and when I took a look at their videos on the Monachetti website I was blown away! They have a unique style, and you wont get bored watching their wedding videos. I will admit some even got me a little misty eyed, but I’m just a sap. Hopefully I can get them to do a promo video for me soon! Check out their work on their website!
I love the way babies look, smell, sleep, smile. It makes my heart flutter a little. I especially love to photograph them! This sweet baby girl is on my Year in the Life of Baby package so I’ll be coming back to her again and again to document her first year… and on! For her first session, just a few weeks old, I went to the place she knows best, her home!
My youngest baby is actually a toddler, she TWO and walking, talking, (screaming), and has a mind of her own. She’s so alike and soooo different from her older sister. Laila, will give you a tooth ache shes so sweet. She could cuddle for hours, the way she runs to you after she miss you, and wraps her arms around your neck and goes straight to laying her head on your shoulder until you have to peal her off is just sweetness. Her obsession with dogs (I know you’ve seen the DOGGIE! video) or animals in general is adorable and entertaining. She’s been incredible since they day she was born, never given me an ounce of trouble. BUT boy she does have a temper she does not like hearing the word “no” or having to be patient for anything. And have I mentioned what a clutz she is. It’s a rare and miraculous occasion when she doesnt have at least one bruise, typically on her head. Just today we were headed out of a glass door after getting icecream, and of course she completely misses the open door and runs smack into the glass wall. She’s used to it though so she just smiled and aimed for the door again. I love you Laila Leigh.
There is something about crossing over that Chesapeake Bay Bridge that makes it feel like you’re in a whole another world! Everythings a little greener, a little slower and looking out to the water calms you! I got the chance to hop right over the bridge to the Kent Manor Inn to photograph Kristin and Marvin’s wedding that overlooked the water. Everything was perfect, including the Dark Chocolate Godiva Bar favor that was placed right in front of me at dinner. There was no way I was going to pretend polite and leave it there. I LOVE dark chocolate! Best favor ever! Heres a few highlights!
I am holding in my hands the latest issue of The Knot MD, DC & VA and guess who’s photos are on page 32? There is just something about seeing your photos in print! I am so thankful to be in the Fall/Winter issue of The Knot after just having my last publishing in the Spring/Summer issue!

I unexpectedly completed one off my 101 in 1001 list recently. While we were waiting for our dinner reservations I just said “hey lets walk around the corner and take a few photos!”, so we did! And I got to complete #96! Love these two!

Heres a peak at what me and the girls did for fourth of July! The girls had a blast see all the events downtown!
Most of the parade was full of people throwing candy. Laila’s would open up each piece, take a bite and go on to the next. By the end she was surrounded by half eaten candy and trash.
Then when went to see the fireworks at the dock and when Laila went to bed me and Riley used our sparklers to do some light writing
