My Crazy Christmas … And a Happy New Year!

We broke out the video a little this month and got some really great footage of the girls so I decided to flex my (ametuer) skillz on iMovie it and put it together with some of the photos I captured during the snow storm and Christmas! The video is just done with a point & shoot camera, I know, I know I need to get one of those new fangled SLR’s that does HD videos, like the one I rented for my Boudoir Video and that Fun Video I did of the girls (that I cant find the link to right now). My favorites parts of our Christmas video is a close tie between Rileys wonderfully terrible photos she got at her great grandmothers with her new kid sized digital camera, or when Laila throws one of her stocking stuffers smack dab on Brian’s forehead. And before you watch, I excuse Brian’s (albeit funny) behavior with the cat. :D I am trying to get some major work and emails done before I leave town. I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year!

Holiday Photos - MD family portrait photographer

So if youre not in the holiday mood yet, with only 3 days until xmas left, I hope my recent family portrait sessions will do it for you! I will be officially off duty 12/24- 1/4 for holiday break and travel, but will be attending to some emails and such on 12/27 & 12/28 only. I was a brave, brave soul and got my kids shopping done on Black Friday (as well as some light shopping on Cyber Monday), but somehow, I still dont have all my shopping done for all my family. What about you? Have you even started? Were you done months ago (like my grandmother always manages to do)?

Baking cake!

The unperfect, perfect family photo. This one made it on their cards.

The Oaks Wedding Photography - St. Michaels, MD

So behind on blogging! I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season thus far!

Here is a wedding I photographed in Halloween (yes, I’m that behind). It was such a great wedding, and so UN- halloween, except for when the bride and grooms friends surprised them with a thriller dance and costume and the reception. Check out all the wonderful vendors!
