As you may know, I created my 101 in 1001 list in 2007. Naturally I was over ambitious in creating my list, but pretty confident I’d get most/all of it done in 3 years time, hence the last task where it says “101. Donate $100 to charity for every task not completed (going big, more reason to complete them all!)”.
My deadline is this October and I’m not as confident as I once was in getting it ALL done, but I’m still excited about crossing some of these tasks off my list! I’ve went through and updated the list a bit, crossing off things I’ve done, that I didnt even realize I already did! Or italicizing the tasks that are in progress right now!
Here’s an overview of what I’ve done recently
“78. Fire a gun.”
This was a big one and I love completing this task!
“67. Reduce my worldly possessions by 101 things.”
When we moved in October, we went well beyond 101 things! I took carloads of things to goodwill and you should of seen the trash pile the day I pulled away from my old house. There’s a picture around here somewhere…
“66. Adopt a pet.”
When me and Brian started living together, I inherited a scaredy cat named Baker. You may remember seeing him being tortured out in the snow in our Christmas video. Although, hopefully we’ll be adopting a family dog in the near future!
Now, some of the things that are in progress…
“53. Get into shape (i.e. when my love handles don’t hang over my jeans) :)”
I’ve been struggling with this one since I started the list! We joined a gym recently and I’m hoping to get this one scratched off soon. I just need to actually make it to the gym!
“16. Go on a cruise. & 11. Visit Europe for leisure.”
Thanks to a really sweet home buyers tax credit, this is now a very real possibility for us! We are looking at mediterranean cruises that leave this summer!

“84. Take at least one photo of all my relatives in Montana. & 85. Take at least one photo of all my relatives in Maryland.”
I’ve been compiling photographs of my family, but I’m not done with it yet. This one is really important to me, as we have 5 generations alive! I was really sad that my great grandmother passed last year before I had a chance to go back out to Montana and finish photographing my relatives.

I have a lot to get done, and I know realistically I might not, but I’m fine with that. I plan on making a new list when this ones done! Do any of you readers have an suggestions to help me finish any of my unfinished tasks?
